Educational Funders

Global Classroom is offered on a fee-paid basis under the terms of a contract with the New York City Department of Education. Funding for school visits typically comes through Community School Districts, High School Superintendencies, school building and/or Parent Association funds, and afterschool programs.

Supplementary funding for Global Classroom is provided by corporations, foundations and individuals. Past and current funding partners include the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the Open Society Institute, the Citizens Committee for New York, the State of New York, the American Society of the French Legion of Honor, Inc., the Genesis Foundation, the American-Scandinavian Foundation, and the Henry Luce Foundation.

Corporations or individuals are invited to contact the One To World staff to discuss donating a Global Classroom program to the school or schools in which your company is involved. Alternatively, we can work with you to identify a school that most closely fits your philanthropic goals.
