Join us at the end of the month as our next Cultural Cuisine takes us to a delicious Russian restaurant! Conquer the cold, just like they do in Russia, and warm up with a satisfying meal at Masha & the Bear in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The evening will be filled with great conversation, plenty of food, and new friends!
This menu has been specifically designed for One To World guests. All of the dishes will be served family style.
Appetizers (served family style)
*Fried Potatoes with Herring in olive oil & onions - traditional Russian appetizer with vodka chaser
*Homemade Pelmeni - traditional Russian boiled dumplings (chicken and pork)
*Russian Blintzes - thin pancakes stuffed with mushrooms & onions in a cream sauce
Entrees (served family style)
*Golubtzi - stuffed cabbage leaves slow braised with mushrooms and onions in a velvety tomato broth (vegetarian)
*Wood Smoked Salmon Fillet - served with seasonal vegetable medley
*Beef Stroganoff - tender strips of slow cooked beef in a mushroom cream sauce served over buttery mashed potatoes
Dessert (served family style)
*Napolean's Cake - traditional Russian layered cake made with light sweet cream
*Assorted Sweet Blintzes - thin pancakes stuffed with apples, chocolate, or sour cherries
*Russian Compot - made out of fresh wild berries and lightly sweetened
