Spend your Friday afternoon discovering the complex history of one of New York's most famous neighborhoods on this unique 2 hour walking tour! We will walk through the landmarked streets of Greenwich Village visiting the former homes of Aaron Burr, Eleanor Roosevelt, and other famous Villagers while discussing gentrification, the impact of NYU's campus, and other historic preservation battles. Tim White, history professor and former professional tour guide, will recount the dramatic & fascinating story of the community surrounding Washington Square Park.
