One To World's Global Classroom program trains international students and scholars to be Global Guides in public schools and after-schools throughout New York City and New Jersey, where they lead interactive workshops about world cultures and global issues. Global Guides learn to design workshops through the training and mentorship of Global Classroom staff, who also join you in the classroom to support and co-facilitate your workshop. You can learn more about Global Classroom here.
To participate in Global Classroom, you must be selected to attend our Global Guide training. APPLY HERE to become a Global Guide! Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the training is full. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 18th.
Our training will introduce you to Global Classroom and give you an opportunity to:
* Learn about the US education system and NYC and New Jersey schools.
* Develop a workshop about your home country & culture.
* Practice your public speaking and teaching skills in a supportive environment.
* Meet other international students!
